A puzzle habit that takes five minutes

PuzzleDay is a small collection of classic puzzles you can play in a browser tab: a daily word game, a daily sudoku, and two timeless arcade-style games. The daily puzzles are the same for every player, so you can compare results with friends, family or a group chat — each game has a share button that copies your result as a spoiler-free emoji grid.

Why daily puzzles are good for you

A short daily puzzle is an easy routine to keep: it takes a few minutes, has a clear finish and gives you something to look forward to tomorrow. Word games build vocabulary and spelling patterns; sudoku and minesweeper exercise logical deduction and working memory; 2048 rewards planning a few moves ahead. Streak counters make it easy to keep the habit going.

Frequently asked questions

When do the daily puzzles change?

At midnight in your own time zone. The daily word and the daily sudoku are numbered — puzzle #1 was on launch day — so friends anywhere in the world can compare the same puzzle.

Is everything free?

Yes. Every game is free to play with no account, no download and no limit on unlimited modes. The site is supported by ads, which are kept away from the game boards.

How are my streaks saved?

Your progress, streaks and best times are stored in your own browser. Nothing is uploaded, so they stay on the device you play on. Clearing your browser data resets them.

Can I play on my phone?

Yes. Every game works on phones and tablets with touch controls: an on-screen keyboard for the word games, a number pad for sudoku, swipes for 2048 and a Dig/Flag switch for minesweeper. You can also install the site as an app from your browser menu.

Do the games work offline?

Once you have opened a game, it keeps working without an internet connection, including the daily puzzles — they are generated on your device.
