How to play
Enter any six-letter word and press Enter. Tiles turn green for the right letter in the right spot, yellow for a letter that belongs elsewhere and grey for a letter that is not in the word. Solve it within six guesses to keep your streak.
Strategy for six-letter words
- Look for endings. Common endings such as -er, -ly, -le, -al, -ent and -ion appear in a large share of six-letter answers. Words like winter, simple, gently or normal test them early.
- Two vowels are typical. Most answers contain two vowels, often separated by consonants: garden, button, silver.
- Double letters are more common than in shorter words — letter, coffee, bottle, summer.
- Build from the middle. Once you know the vowels, think about which consonant pairs fit around them (st, nd, tt, ll, ck).
