About PuzzleDay

PuzzleDay is a small collection of free puzzle games you can play in any browser: a daily word game in four lengths, a daily sudoku at four difficulty levels, classic minesweeper and 2048. There is nothing to install and no account to create.

Same puzzle for everyone

The daily word and daily sudoku are numbered — puzzle #1 was our launch day — and change at midnight in your own time zone. Because everyone gets the same puzzle, you can compare results with friends using the spoiler-free share button.

Fair puzzles

Word game answers are chosen from a list of common everyday words — no plurals, no obscure words, no proper names — while any real English word is accepted as a guess. Every sudoku is checked by a solver as it is made, so each one has exactly one solution and can be solved by logic alone. In minesweeper, your first click is always safe.

Private by default

Your games, streaks and statistics are saved in your own browser and are never uploaded to our servers. The puzzles are generated on your device, which is also why the games keep working offline once loaded.
